The waiting parlor of the once thriving 1st Street brothel, recreated by Dave Stewart, generates a sense of absence and life simultaneously. The space itself combines elements of the odd and the grand. Dolls and a flower pot made of a mannequin's legs decorate the room of plush furniture and peeling paint.
