Storm clouds gather over the bunkers of the former Naval Ammunition Depot on the southeast side of Hastings. The depot, while at its peak in WWII and again during the Korean War, was a major job provider for the city of Hastings. The NAD, disestablished in 1958, was the largest of its kind, consisting of more than 2,200 buildings.
