Go Big Red
Illuminated in Husker Red for the University's Homecoming weekend, Nebraska's State Capitol pierces the evening sky after a late September thunderstorm. This is the third of its kind to stand on this spot, after the capitol was moved to Lincoln in 1867. Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue, who won the bid in a national competition, is the architect responsible for this unique landmark building.
